Travel by motorized canoe through the Amazon rainforest, visit a wildlife rescue center, discover Kichwa traditions on Anaconda Island, explore a jungle lagoon inhabited by caimans and prehistoric birds, and learn the ancestral art of Amazonian pottery with a Kichwa family.

Start your journey from Tena with a private transfer to Punta del Ahuano (~50 minutes), then board a motorized canoe for a ~20-minute journey along the Napo River. Your first stop is a local wildlife rescue center, learning about rescued Amazonian animals and conservation efforts.

Continue by canoe to Anaconda Island to discover traditional Kichwa culture, including artisanal chocolate making and traditional pottery. Then take a short walk through the rainforest to a peaceful Amazonian lagoon inhabited by caimans and prehistoric-looking birds.
